1. GENERAL
MADLADY AB, company registration number 556936-4796 (“MADLADY”), is the company that provides https://madlady.se/, hereinafter referred to as “the website.” The terms “we, our, ours, and us” in these conditions refer to MADLADY. The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by the customer (hereinafter referred to as “you,” “your”) with us.
By using the website and/or placing an order, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions set out in this document (“the conditions”). Please ensure that you have read and understood the conditions before placing your order.
To protect your interests as a customer, the provisions of the Consumer Sales Act (SFS 1990:932), the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (SFS 2005:59), the Sales of Goods Act (SFS 1990:931), the Personal Data Act (SFS 1998:204), and Directive 95/46/EC “GDPR” apply to all purchases on the website.
You must be over 18 years of age or have parental consent to shop with us.
All material on the website is protected under copyright law and may not be downloaded without permission.
2. PERSONAL DATA
MADLADY is committed to respecting and protecting your personal data and your privacy. All data saved about the customer is handled in accordance with GDPR.
In connection with your order, you consent to us storing and using your personal data within our operations to fulfill and provide the level of service you can expect from us. To better understand how we process information about you, you can read more in our Privacy Policy.
3. PRICE, AVAILABILITY & COLOURS
All prices are shown in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and include statutory Swedish VAT. In the event of pricing errors, we reserve the right to adjust or cancel orders. We cannot guarantee that an item displayed on the website is in stock; if this occurs, we will contact you.
Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, and we therefore cannot guarantee that the colour you see on your screen is an exact representation of the actual product. Of course, we do our best to ensure accuracy, and you always have the right to return your item.
4. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
MADLADY takes great care in receiving and handling orders and strives to deliver your order according to the delivery option you have chosen. Although we aim to deliver within the stated timeframes, deliveries may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances. During promotional periods and high volumes, we cannot guarantee regular delivery times.
If your order includes a product with a longer delivery time, the order will be shipped based on the item with the longest lead time. If your shipment has not arrived within 10 business days after receiving the shipping confirmation, please contact us.
5. UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES/SHIPMENTS
Shipments not collected and returned to us are not covered by the return or withdrawal right. If the shipment is not collected, a fee of 20 EUROS will be charged to cover our costs. This fee will be added to the original invoice.
6. PAYMENT OPTIONS
We offer various payment options such as invoice, account, installment, card payment, etc. Payment methods may vary by country and are listed at checkout.
For card payments, your card will be charged when your order is shipped from us.
Credit Check
We reserve the right to assess your application to pay by invoice, installment, or account and may decline, limit, or offer alternative payment methods. For card purchases, we reserve the right to check the card’s validity, available credit, and that the buyer’s address matches. We may refuse a purchase based on these checks.
Fees
MADLADY is not responsible for late fees, reminder fees, or delays in payment. Questions should be directed to Klarna’s customer service.
Other
You are obligated to provide a correct email address and inform MADLADY of any changes. MADLADY reserves the right to send payment requests to your email address.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (RETURNS & EXCHANGES)
As a private consumer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days under current consumer protection legislation. Return the item in unchanged condition, preferably in original packaging. You may open the packaging and try the product if its nature requires it. If the item is not in unchanged condition, MADLADY may deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation in value from the refund. The right of withdrawal does not apply to customized or personalized products.
The withdrawal period begins the day you receive the item. You exercise your right of withdrawal by contacting us within the withdrawal period. The return shipping fee is 49 SEK, which will be deducted from the refund. You are responsible for the item arriving back to MADLADY.
MADLADY also offers 30 days open purchase. You may return your items within 30 days of receiving your order. If you selected invoice as your payment method, be sure to either pay or extend your invoice, especially if you haven’t received confirmation of your return being processed before the due date.
For exchanges, place a new order for the desired item and write the new order number on the return slip to get free return shipping.
Returns received after the 30-day return period may be charged a late return fee of 175 SEK. In such cases, we will contact the customer first.
8. REFUNDS
Once we receive your return, we will process your refund within 10 business days. You will receive an email notification once the refund is completed.
If you used a discount, the refund will be adjusted according to the discount’s terms, and you will receive an email with the final refunded amount.
If a gift was included with your order, both the product and the gift must be returned to retain the offer. If the gift is not returned, you will be charged for it. If the gift is out of stock, we reserve the right to replace it with an item of equal value and will inform you via email.
9. COMPLAINTS
If you receive a damaged product upon delivery or if an item becomes defective within the warranty period, you may file a complaint. Contact us via email, include your order number and the item’s name or number, and describe the issue. We will follow up with instructions.
For private consumers, the Consumer Sales Act (1990:932) applies, which means return and shipping fees are refunded for valid claims. The complaint period is 3 years.
10. ORDER CANCELLATION & CHANGES
It is not possible to cancel an order once it has been completed.
11. ADDRESS INFORMATION
Be accurate when entering your address. We ship to the exact address you provide. If your surname is not registered at the delivery address, you must use a c/o address. For invoice orders, the package is sent to the address linked to your personal identity number. It is your responsibility to provide the correct address.
12. FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of circumstances beyond MADLADY’s reasonable control—such as changes in legislation, governmental actions, strikes, blockades, sabotage, war, terrorism, fire, flood, natural disasters, or similar events—our obligation to fulfill the purchase agreement is postponed for the duration of the circumstance. If the delay exceeds 2 months, both you and MADLADY may cancel the agreement without compensation.
13. DISPUTES
In case of a dispute, our policy is to follow the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). You may also use the EU Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: http://ec.europa.eu/odr
